If you are not running a Web server or you are planning to view the e-show over a local area network (LAN) only, you would publish your e-show to a shared folder or LAN. When you publish using this method, enter the location as a universal naming convention (UNC) so that everyone on the network can see it, regardless of drive mappings.
When publishing to a hard drive or shared network folder, you must specify the fully-qualified path to the folder into which Alive e-Show should copy the e-show files. For example, if you were publishing the e-show to a folder named Alive e-Show on the Sales server, the fully-qualified path would be \\Sales\Alive e-Show. If you use a mapped drive letter, the media link for your e-show will not be valid.
In order to be able to copy your e-show files to the specified folder, you must be able to write files to that folder. If you do not have permission to copy files to the specified folder or Alive e-Show returns an error when publishing, contact your system administrator.
